The road seen below was constructed on the toughest section of steep mountainous logging terrain for SAPPI (South Africa Pulp and Paper Industry) in Mpumalanga, South Africa. In total the test road was 600 meters long by 8 meters wide and this particular section was chosen because it had previously been the most troublesome section of road requiring the most frequent amount of maintenance on all of SAPPI's logging roads in Mpumalanga. It has now been a few months since the road was stabilized by EarthZyme and it has been trafficked by 25 trucks a day, 7 days a week weighing approximately 65 tons each and has required no maintenance whatsoever. The heavily loaded trucks began using the EarthZyme treated road only a day after completion. However this is just the heavy traffic and there are also numerous other vehicles and trucks using this formerly treacherous road on a daily basis. This section of road required only 20.3 liters of EarthZyme and with the combination of no maintenance requirements it has proven to be a very cost-effective application. The engineers and officials at SAPPI are extremely satisified with the road and now plan on using EarthZyme for many more high load bearing logging and other related roads in the near future.
