The above shows the borrow soil in a windrow to the left and then the treated soil during the compaction stage. A principal advantage is that traffic can run on the road during construction and complete application takes very little time.
These two photos show the application of the hot seal and the final finish. These four photographs show the hauling in of the material from the borrow pit, through to the application of EarthZyme and onto the compacted road bed. This follows onto a 16mm chip hot mix bitumen seal. EarthZyme develops the perfect impermeable base for chip/seal, asphalt or concrete. The EarthZyme surface can be left as is or a light surface layer of small fine aggregate may be applied as an economical wear coat.
